Liquid Glass
Liquid Glass overview
What the Liquid Glass theme changes in Pelican Panel and what you need to run it.
Liquid Glass is a theme for Pelican Panel. Clear glass panes with a light-catching rim float over slowly drifting coloured lights, the top bar and sidebar bend the page that passes beneath them, and every working screen stays as fast and readable as the default panel.
The theme is a regular Pelican plugin. It does not modify core files, makes no external requests and downloads no fonts or images.
Requirements
- Pelican Panel 1.0.0-rc.2, tested with Laravel 13.38, Filament 5.10.2 and PHP 8.4
- A current Chromium-based browser for edge refraction. Firefox and Safari show the frosted glass version.
What changes
Glass
- Transparent panes with a specular rim on every edge and a glint that follows the cursor
- Edge refraction on the floating top bar and sidebar (Chromium browsers)
- Slowly drifting backdrop lights in three colours, paused automatically with reduced motion
- Full light and dark mode
Servers
- Server cards lit from the edge by their state: running, offline or starting
- Uptime pill, labelled CPU, memory and disk meters, dimmed offline servers
- Cards keep their layout while loading
Console
- Large server name, status pill with a breathing light and a copyable address
- Terminal set into a glass well with a theme-tuned colour palette, using Cascadia Code when the system has it
- Log highlighting for Paper, Velocity, Forge, Fabric and BungeeCord log formats
- CPU, memory and network charts in the theme colours
Everywhere else
- Floating sidebar, capsule top bar, segmented tabs, capsule buttons and recessed inputs
- File editor (Monaco) with syntax colours from the theme
- Frosted menus, modals and notifications
- English, Czech and Slovak
Colours
The theme ships with an azure, lagoon and coral palette. To change colours, glass strength and corner radius from the admin area, install the companion add-on Liquid Glass Color Editor.
